There’s a saying that all good things must come to
an end. Bummer.
Here’s the good News: All bad things do too.
If you are going through challenging times, remind
yourself as often as you need to-
This shall pass.
It won’t always be this way.
You've been here before, and
the sun came back to shine again. Brightly.
Most people remember Rhett Butler’s line from Gone
with the Wind as the last line of the movie- that cuttingly negative, “Frankly
my dear, I don’t give a….”
Actually, it’s not. Rather, it’s Scarlet who has the
last word. “Tomorrow is another day.”
Much better. More positive, and so true, to boot.

A good reminder to think positively!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree :)
ReplyDeleteMirka, you just brightened my day! Yes, of course, this too shall pass.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I dread doing something I remind myself it will be over before I know it. It's what gets me through.
ReplyDeleteThis brightened my day, too! "This, too, shall pass" is a good mantra.
ReplyDelete"Tomorrow is another day." Now I want to go read Gone with the Wind again....
ReplyDeleteI want to reread GWTW now, too! I do what Kelly does. If I don't want to do something, and it's going to take 15 minutes or half an hour, I say to myself, "Anybody can get through 15 minutes or half an hour."
